2018 FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018,after the country was awarded the hosting rights on 2 December 2010.

The process was not without criticism: allegations of bribery on the part of the Russian team and corruption from FIFA members were made particularly by the English Football Association. It was alleged that four members of the executive committee had requested bribes to vote for England, and Sepp Blatter said that it had already been arranged before the vote that Russia would win.The 2014 Garcia Report, an internal investigation led by Michael J. Garcia, was withheld from public release by Hans-Joachim Eckert, FIFA's head of adjudication on ethical matters. Eckert instead a shorter revised summary, and his (and therefore FIFA's) reluctance to publish the full report caused Garcia to resign in protest. Due to such controversy, the FA refused to accept Eckert's absolving of Russia from blame, with Greg Dyke calling for a re-examination of the affair and David Bernstein calling for a boycott of the World Cup.
Germany Announce Final WC Squad, Cut Four! :-
The defending champions lost 2-1 to Austria on Saturday, a game in which Low gave a few of his squad players a final chance to shine.
It was also Manuel Neuer's first match since September 2017, and it has been confirmed that Die Mannschaft's captain, who missed large parts of the 2017/18 campaign due to injury, has made Low's squad for Russia. The Germany boss has previously indicated that Neuer will also be his first-choice keeper for the tournament if he made the cut.

A coaching panel, which included former Manchester United boss David Moyes, selected the 18-man squad of the season, but there was no space for Sadio Mane and James Milner.
Mane equalled Mohamed Salah's record as the African with most goals in a single Champions League campaign after scoring Liverpool's equaliser in Saturday's 3-1 final defeat to Real Madrid, his 10th UCL goal this season.
His teammate Milner broke the record for the most assists in a Champions League campaign, setting his colleagues up nine times in 2017/18, yet neither neither the Englishman nor Mane were named in the official UCL Team of the Season.
In fact, only three Liverpool stars made the selection, namely Roberto Firmino, Virgil van Dijk and Salah. Meanwhile, the Reds' opponents in the final, Los Blancos, who lifted their third straight trophy, had eight players in the squad. In Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas, eight of Zinedine Zidane's starting XI for the final were chosen.
AS Roma, with Alisson and Edin Dzeko, and Bayern Munich, with James Rodriguez and Joshua Kimmich, each have two representatives in UEFA UCL Squad of the Season, while Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini, Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne and FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi were also selected.
Jerzy Engel, Thomas Schaaf, Mixu Paatelainen, Peter Rudbaek and Cristian Chivu were the other UEFA technical observers on the coaching panel that selected the squad.
